What Parents Want to Know

Is this for my teen’s situation?

Yes — mentoring meets teens in the specifics: anxiety and overwhelm, school refusal or slipping grades, friend-group and social challenges, post-trauma adjustment, behavior changes at home or school, identity and confidence questions, and big life transitions.

What does it cost?

Sessions begin at $65/hour, with discounted monthly packages available. We’ll walk through options and affordability together on your free intake call.

How fast can we start?

Most families schedule a free 20-minute intake call within days and begin sessions within one to two weeks.

What happens after I book the call?

1) Free 20-minute intake call · 2) Intake session with parent and teen · 3) Goal-setting session · 4) Ongoing weekly or bi-weekly sessions · 5) Monthly progress reports.

Is it confidential?

Yes. What your teen shares in sessions stays private, and we explain exactly how confidentiality works — including its safety-related limits — to both parents and teens at intake.

How do you measure progress?

We track: engagement, confidence, goal completion, and caregiver-reported change. Our first impact report is on the way.

Meet Your Certified Teen Coach

Ms. Kay

B.S. Psychology  |  Certified Life Coach  |  TBI Background Checked  |  Trauma-Informed Trained

I’m Kayla, a certified life coach and youth mentor with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and experience in education and child welfare. For the past six years, I’ve supported young people as a teacher, mentor, and social worker, helping them navigate personal, emotional, and academic challenges with compassion and guidance.

My work is always trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate, and rooted in meeting young people exactly where they are—while gently pushing them forward.

A Passion That Started Early

My work in mentorship did not begin after certification—it began out of love. While in high school & college, I naturally gravitated toward encouraging and supporting peers, becoming a trusted presence for younger people navigating identity, confidence, and life transitions.

Current Practice & Vision

Today, I work as Ms. Kay operating a private practice serving teens and young adults through one-on-one mentoring sessions, trauma coping, social-emotional skill building, confidence and identity coaching, & support with school professionals
